Unicornfest
Bridging Histories are thrilled to be teaming up with Leukaemia Care, as the Educational Partner for Unicornfest! Schools, artists, businesses and community groups all over Bristol are creating a Unicorn Trail with fibre glass unicorns all over the city, to raise funds to fight cancer. Bridging Histories and Leukaemia Care worked together to create an Education Pack with a bespoke set of lessons plans for schools across Bristol to use en route to painting their unicorns. More than 30 schools are joining in.

Didn't sponsor a unicorn? No problem! You can still use the Education Pack - just follow the lesson plans and have students create their own unicorns, using our unicorn template. Then you can take your unicorns and their children to explore the Unicorn Trail this summer.
Dive Deeper Interviews
We've put together some great interviews with grownups who live in Bristol today. Have KS2 students study an interview in small groups. What does your story have in common with these Bristol stories? What is unique about each story? What do we learn about our city, by hearing the stories of people who live here?
